These inserts have a tab that extends below the base with a slot cut out to be able to attach a lock.
This idea came to us here at V-Lock from a customer who had some expensive gear stolen when left overnight.
These are meant to be used on stationary vehicles while unattended and not well suited for use while in motion or underway.
